Heather O’Hara, MD, MSPH, FACOEM, has served as a Director on the Board since 2019, representing the specialty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Dr. O’Hara completed her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, where she also earned her Master of Science in Public Health degree and completed a residency in Preventive Medicine and a fellowship in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Dr. O’Hara works as an Occupational and Environmental Medicine specialist at Memorial Occupational Health Clinic in Decatur, Illinois. Prior to joining the Memorial Health System, she served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Her main roles included being the Program Director for the Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Preventive Medicine residencies, as well as Medical Director for the Student and Employee Health Clinic.
Dr. O’Hara is certified by ABPM in Occupational & Environmental Medicine and in Public Health & General Preventive Medicine.
