Jeffrey L. Levin, MD, MSPH serves as Vice Chair of Occupational and Environmental Medicine on the ABPM’s Board of Directors. Dr. Levin has sat on the Board since 2015, and served as Treasurer from 2016-2021.
Dr. Levin earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, a Master of Science in Public Health degree at the University of Kentucky, and a Doctor of Public Health degree from Texas A & M University. He completed a residency in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Kentucky A.B. Chandler Medical Center and a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Hospital and Clinics.
He is Professor of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, as well as the Jesse H. Jones Distinguished Professor of Occupational Health Sciences, at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. He is also Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs at the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine.
Dr. Levin is certified by ABPM in Occupational and Environmental Medicine as well as by ABIM in Internal Medicine.
