John D. Meyer, MD, MPH has served on the Board, representing the specialty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, since 2021.
Dr. Meyer is Professor of Environmental Medicine and Public Health, Director of the New York-New Jersey NIOSH Education and Research Center at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Industrial Medicine. He is also an attending physician at the Selikoff Centers for Occupational Health at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
Dr. Meyer attended Cornell University Medical College in New York where he earned his medical degree. He completed a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University School of Public Health, where he also completed a residency in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
He is certified by the ABPM in Occupational & Environmental Medicine and Public Health & General Preventive Medicine.
