Wendy E. Braund, MD, MPH, MSEd, FACPM is the Chair of ABPM’s Board of Directors, a position she has held since August 2021. She has been a Director on the Board since 2014.

Dr. Braund received her medical degree from the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania and went on to earn her Master of Public Health degree at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland while completing her Preventive Medicine Residency there.

Prior to attending medical school, she was a special education teacher and school counselor.

She is employed as the COVID-19 Response Director for the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Dr. Braund is certified by the ABPM in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine.
