Physicians who have registered and paid for the 2026 certification exam may receive a refund of the exam fee, less a $500 administrative fee, through September 25, 2026.

Physicians may withdraw from the 2026 exam after September 25, 2026, but ABPM will not be able to provide a refund and the full exam fee will be forfeited, as exam registration fees cannot be rolled over to subsequent years.

This deadline applies to all ABPM specialty and subspecialty certification exams, including the HALM exam.
