Members of ABPM’s Board and staff are remembering the life of our friend and colleague, Loreta Krutulis, MEd, ABPM’s Chief Administrative Officer, who passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2025.
Beginning her tenure in 2018, Loreta quickly became an indispensable member of ABPM’s family. Loreta was fiercely loyal to ABPM and devoted to her work until her final days. While often working behind the scenes to make sure ABPM ran smoothly, her talent for making people feel welcome and included took center stage during the Board meetings and events she thoughtfully prepared. Ready with a calming word or good advice when needed, a conversation with Loreta revealed both her genuine interest in other people and her quick wit.
ABPM is better for having been touched by Loreta’s presence and we will miss her sorely. ABPM’s Board and staff extend their sincere condolences to Loreta’s friends and family, particularly her husband Paul and sons Michael, David, and Teddy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Endometrial Cancer Research Foundation or the Chicago Public Library Foundation.
