    Pathway PurposeThis track is open to physicians who have completed a non-ACGME-accredited HALM fellowship and at least 24 months of acceptable leadership experience and responsibilities.This track is open to physicians who have completed at least 36 months of acceptable leadership experience and responsibilities.This track is open to physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited HALM fellowship.
    Board CertificationCurrent underlying ABPM specialty or subspecialty certification required. ABA-certified physicians may apply through ABA; ABFM-certified physicians may apply through ABFM; all other physicians certified through an ABMS member board may apply through ABEM.Current underlying ABPM specialty or subspecialty certification required.     FellowshipSuccessful completion of a fellowship that reasonably addresses HALM content is required. The fellowship must be at least 12 months in duration and be sponsored by an ACGME-accredited residency program or ACGME-accredited institution.N/ASuccessful completion of an ACGME-accredited HALM fellowship. Applicants must successfully complete all months of training for which the HALM fellowship is accredited (either 12 or 24 months).
    ACHE/AAPL CertificationCurrent ACHE or AAPL certification decreases practice requirement by 12 months.
