To accommodate the record number of applicants for ABPM’s 2025 certification exam, ABPM is extending the deadline to register for the exam through 11:59 p.m., Central Time, on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025.
Important Details
- The deadline to withdraw from the exam and receive a refund (less a $500 administrative fee) remains Sept. 26, 2025.
- All approved applicants have a three-year window in which to take the exam, regardless of the pathway through which they applied. For example, if your application was approved in 2025, you may take the exam in 2025, 2026, and/or 2027. You do not need to submit additional documentation to maintain your eligibility during this three-year period.
- You must register for the exam in the year in which you would like to take it. Previous exam registration fee payments cannot be applied toward a future year’s exam registration fee.

- To access the search tool, click the “View test centers and find seat availability” link under “Scheduling Your Examination,” then select the exam you are taking.
- You can select up to three test centers to compare availability.
- Be sure to check only the dates during ABPM’s exam window of Oct. 13 through Nov. 2. The search tool will display year-round availability but you will only be able to schedule your exam during ABPM’s exam window.
- Neither ABPM nor Pearson VUE can guarantee the dates and locations you find on the search tool will be available when you schedule your exam.
